Link is the sister project to blink which in terms of its charitable outcomes, its collaborative nature and its measuring of the way the world is at the moment, is the same in every way except for one important difference: where blink is image-led, link is sound-led. In other words sound artists are being approached to generate soundscapes and then either generate an image track themself or approach a visual artist to collaborate with them.
The first piece was composed by English composer Al Lethbridge (and Terry Flaxton collaborated with him on the images), produced in November 2006 and is called: On this day the Eternal Flame of Chimera Still Burns. The second piece is by Mario Garuti and Armando Lazzaroni in Monza Italy prosduced in March 2007 and entitled Notwithstanding the Storm.
